Catfish, it was a thrilling finish to a thrilling season. We finally whupped those Shadow Masks! And in true Catfish fashion: JC got 2 (TWO!) homeruns; both catchers Diane and Erin caught pop flies behind the plate; we welcomed Ryan Picazio into the homerun club; Butters hit a homerun as well; we kept them scoreless in 2 innings; and great hits by just about everyone, including Mickus, Evan, Diane, Greg, Charles, Jose, David, and Marc. This brings our season to 4 wins and 6 losses--a huge improvement over last year!
Pat yourselves on your little catfishy backs, Catfish. This was a fine way to psych ourselves up for the Easter Seals game this Saturday, vs. our evil twin, Harvard University Press. We're better poised than ever before to whup their butts as well. Fish who will be taking the field for this event include myself, JC, Kate, Butters, Evan, Diane, Jose, Erin, and our friends Rich and Mary. Feel free to come cheer us on at Danehy Park in Cambridge, this Saturday at 1:30.
There is, of course, already talk of the end-of-season BBQ, to be graciously hosted by Jose and Marieke. The date of that will be revealed soon.
In sum, enjoy the off-season, Fish, and look forward to an even better season in 2010.
Judy
