Dear Fish and Friends,
A brief write-up today as yours truly is swamped with work (?????). As you can see from the score, a bitter loss to the Straw Dogs this week. We had our shining moments, including homeruns by Butters and Slamwell, and H Bomb’s obligatory perfectly executed catch of a pop-up behind the plate. Our spirits were buoyed by Manager Robley stopping by to chew on strategy (and snacks), and our fan Marvelous Marcy showing up to cheer us on. Yours truly, however, has confirmed that shortfield is not the place for me to shine.
At any rate, we have 2 regular games left (technically 3, as next week is a double header >:[ ). Then, Easter Seals!
